Meet Ivan Brinjak, Vice President Sales, Ontario at Long View Systems
Ivan Brinjak is proud to lead the Long View Central Canada sales team. Since the fast-growing branch opened in 2013, Ivan has assembled a team of high-powered sales professionals laser-focused on exceeding client expectations. By focusing on combining business and technology in critical areas such as cloud, data center infrastructure, user support, and IT outsourcing, the team delivers maximum value and optimal outcomes for their clients.
In this Spotlight Series post, we get up close and personal with Ivan regarding the Digital Organization. By exploring the Ontario team’s track record of success, you will learn how they provide the expertise and guidance that enable Long View’s clients to become digital organizations – at their pace to achieve tangible business outcomes.
In your own words, Ivan, what does the Digital Organization mean to you?
In an article I had written several years ago, I talked about the need to take a “purposeful approach to digital transformation.” In other words, when it comes to digital transformation, instead of “chasing the technology,” the focus should be on the empowerment of people to leverage that technology to “deliver greater value to their customers through the core areas of hybrid IT, end-user experience, and security.” I find that in these pandemic times organizations are only spending on projects with outcomes that are tied to improving relationships with their customers, making their employees more efficient and attracting top talent to improve the bottom line and differentiate their business value.
At its core, a digital organization provides its people with the resources to achieve more from anywhere at any time all the time.
In your role at Long View, how do you make the Digital Organization tangible and add value to clients?
Becoming a digital organization involves technology. However, providing technology alone is not enough – expertise in the specific sector we want to serve is essential. Based on our digital transformation as a company, Long View has attained all of the relevant attestations. As a result, we can help our clients transform and at the same time meet their regulatory requirements such as IS27001, PCI, and SOC2 Type2, months earlier than they could on their own through our managed services and certified platforms.
Hiring the brightest and most experienced professionals with proven track records of success in key industry sectors, we develop the specific vertical markets’ required expertise. We continue to onboard Digital Architects, Business Analysts, and Senior Project Managers to bolster our ranks. Our intent is to engage strategically with our customers, work with business leaders to understand their business problems, identify a workable solution, and deploy the right technology to achieve the desired outcome.
Our uncompromising commitment to this strategy has led us to assume a leadership role in the emerging digital era because we understand our clients’ business from the inside out.
Speaking of the above outcomes, why do you believe Long View is the ideal partner for clients?
We are the ideal partner because we believe that a successful sale isn’t about its revenue. It is about working with our clients to leverage digital solutions to achieve the outcomes they need to take their business to a new level of “performance excellence.”
In this regard, we have an enviable track record of success of delivering real business value and business outcomes, as demonstrated by the following results:
- As soon as the government COVID-19 lockdowns took effect, Long View helped the country’s largest community healthcare service transition its 7,000 healthcare professionals to an MS Teams remote working environment within five short days. As a result, the healthcare group handled 1,500 Telehealth calls each day and maintained billing services to generate cash flow.
- Working side-by-side with Long View Systems Canada’s first digital bank was able to make the fastest cut-over of a core banking system to the cloud ever completed in Canadian banking history: only 18 months from strategy to launch. They now have the scale to keep adding new users and keep growing their business at an explosive pace.
- As part of a global consolidation initiative, a large non-profit organization turned to Long View to successfully create and implement a reliable and precise path to transition their 13,000-strong workforce to the cloud and continue their fundraising activities.
- Having extensive experience “scaling-up” client infrastructures to support a large and geographically diverse workforce, Long View implemented an Operational Change Management process to successfully manage the transition of a large Pension Plan’s employees to a remote working environment.
