Long View Wins National Microsoft Partner Award

Calgary, Alberta – November 10, 2010Long View Systems (Long View), a leading provider of IT Consulting, Cloud Services and Outsourcing Solutions, announced today that it has been selected as the winner in the LAR of the Year category at the 2010 Microsoft Partner Network IMPACT Awards. The eighth annual IMPACT awards recognize excellence across the large and diverse community of Microsoft’s Canadian technology partners. The winners were announced at a gala award ceremony in Toronto on November 09, 2010.

“Our annual IMPACT Awards celebrate the infinite possibilities innovative technology partners bring to customers on a regular basis,” said Corinne Sharp, National Director, Canadian Partner Network, Microsoft Canada Inc. “Technology partners like Long View are always finding new and exciting ways to raise the bar making them true leaders in their respective fields.”

Long View was chosen as a winner in the business awards category for Large Account Reseller of the Year, which recognizes a LAR partner for outstanding performance in marketing innovation, driving Microsoft solution awareness and sales. To be nominated for this award, a LAR partner must demonstrate initiatives with measurable results aligned with key Microsoft priorities. Focus is placed on innovation, creativity, execution, and results as they relate to demand generation. Microsoft also evaluates how LARs effectively leveraged product launches in FY10 to drive results. The criteria for selection also included internal readiness, awareness and customer marketing campaigns.

“We are honored to have been selected as a 2010 IMPACT Award winner and extremely proud of everyone on our Microsoft Licensing and Technology teams for their tireless efforts to help Long View clients improve their business productivity through innovative Microsoft business technology solutions,” said Dan Sottile, Chief Revenue Officer at Long View, who was on hand to accept the award. “Long View continues to be recognized by industry partners like Microsoft because of its commitment to deliver leading-edge solutions and quality service to the marketplace.”
