Long View’s Sarah Morreau Recognized as One of CRN’s Top 2017 Women of the Channel 3 Years in a Row!

For the third straight year Sarah Morreau was named to the Power 100 Women of The Channel. This year Sarah was named to both the Top 100 and Power 30 Solution Providers. Sarah has spent an incredible 18 years in the Information Technology industry (IT). Her IT career began early on, starting her own computer resale and support business in 1998 in the small town of Strathmore, AB. Known for both her technical abilities in everything from programming to security. She rapidly grew and sold the business in 2000.

Later joining some of Canada’s most influential IT solutions companies focused on Software Asset Management and IT Contract Management. Her natural ability to navigate diverse vendor relationships, identify trends before they were even a whisper on the web, recognize complex IT licensing scenarios, memorize terms and conditions down to the minutest of details and her unfaultable memory propelled her to become a recognized leader in her field.

For the past six years as the Director of Licensing and Software Asset Management for Long View Systems, one of the most powerful information technology services and solutions companies in North America Sarah has led the Software Asset Management Services team branded SYNCSource to develop award winning client solutions. SYNCSource is hyper focused on bringing real cost savings along with audit assurance to clients in the ever evolving Hybrid Cloud era.

“Sarah’s dedication and diligence in providing superior Software Asset Management solutions through SYNCSource to our customers is relentless in its commitment to the pursuit of accuracy and certainty.” Dave Fredrickson, SVP Sales

Each year, CRN honors 100 women whose channel expertise and vision are deserving of recognition. As part of the 2017 Women of the Channel, CRN is highlighting 30 female executives at solution provider organizations whose insight and influence in their respective companies help drive channel success.

We congratulate all the 2017 Women of the Channel on their stellar accomplishments and look forward to their future success.”

2017 is the third year in a row where Sarah has been recognized by CRN Magazine for her outstanding capabilities and leadership. An entrepreneur and techie at heart, Sarah continues to drive innovation around Software Asset Management for the entire IT channel as well as serve on the boards of emerging technology companies. What a future we could see, if we could just see the world through Sarah’s eyes.
