Long View’s Sarah Morreau named again to CRN’s Women of the Channel List

CALGARY, Alberta and DENVER, Colorado (May 16, 2016) — With Sarah Morreau in charge, Long View’s clients have a license to chill.

Long View, one of North America’s most powerful providers of Hybrid IT solutions and services, is pleased to announce that Morreau, the company’s Director of Licensing and Software Asset Management, was named today to the prestigious 2016 CRN® Women of the Channel list.

This marks the second straight year that Morreau has earned a spot on the Women of the Channel index—compiled by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company.

“Sarah cares deeply about taking care of our clients, and she ensures that our team is there to walk all of our clients through the challenging world of licensing and software—every step of the way,” says Kevin Crowe, Long View’s Vice President of Procurement Services.

“This is a world that can be complex, overwhelming, and tedious at the same time. Sarah has a strong sense of empathy toward our clients—and that, among other qualities, makes her a visionary in the world of software and licensing,” adds Crowe. “We are fortunate to have Sarah on our Long View team.”

The women executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

Morreau has directed Long View’s Licensing and Software Asset Management Practice (SYNC) across North America for five years, during which time the group has enjoyed remarkably consistent growth.

Long View’s SYNC services mesh industry-recognized software asset management best practices with vendor management techniques to create cost-optimized environments for clients both large and small.

“This area of our business continues to be one of the strongest areas of growth across our North American operations,” says Crowe. “Sarah continues to innovate and bring value to our client base. She brings new ideas and strategies to software and licensing’s intersection with cloud, and she continues to show our clients how to maximize their software investment.”

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

“These executives have made a lasting mark on our industry—growing and elevating partner programs, leading transitions to new business models and introducing cutting-edge go-to-market strategies, among other remarkable achievements,” says Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate all the 2016 Women of the Channel and celebrate their singular contributions to the advancement of the channel ecosystem.”

The 2016 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc2016.
