Long View, Embrane form partnership to deliver application-centric networking solutions in Canada

CALGARY, Alta., DENVER, Colo., and SANTA CLARA, Calif. (September 23, 2013) — Embrane, the leader in delivering application-centric network services, today announced a strategic channel partnership with Long View, one of North America’s foremost providers in IT consulting, outsourcing solutions, and cloud services.

After using the Santa Clara, Calif.-based Embrane’s products as part of its public cloud offering, Long View (www.longviewsystems.com) recognized the value Embrane solutions offer enterprises building agile data centers and/or leveraging public, private and hybrid cloud environments. This newly formed partnership will allow Long View to use Embrane solutions to deliver agility, operational simplicity, and savings to Canadian enterprises looking to automate the delivery of network services.

“Long View continually strives to stay ahead of the technology curve and find innovative solutions that add the most value possible for our customers,” said Craig Cook, Long View’s chief architect of cloud services. “We rigorously assess and test any new product we make available to our customers to ensure it meets the high standard of excellence we have already established with those customers.

“The Embrane platform provides clear benefits to our customers looking for agile network services for their data centers,” added Cook, “and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with them.”

“There’s no greater validation of our application-centric networking solutions than when a customer uses it, sees the benefit, and agrees to resell it to their customers,” said Susheel Chitre, vice president of business development and strategic alliances at Embrane. “Long View is one of the industry’s premier IT consulting and networking solution providers, and we are proud to partner with them to bring our solutions to market in Canada.”

As a result of this partnership, Embrane joins Long View’s elite ecosystem of partners, vendors, and service providers, which includes Cisco, Citrix, EMC, HP, NetApp, Riverbed, and VMware, among others.
