Long View earns more Citrix accolades with 2015 Canadian Partner of the Year award
January 19, 2016
CALGARY, Alberta (January 19, 2016) — While the solutions revolve around remote connectivity, this time-tested alliance is especially close and collaborative.
Long View has enjoyed a productive and rewarding partnership with Citrix—a worldwide leader in mobility, desktop virtualization, remote access, networking, cloud computing, collaboration and data sharing solutions—since Long View was founded in 1999.
And for the second time in our history, Long View has earned Canada-wide accolades from Citrix. The 2015 Citrix Canadian Partner of the Year award was presented to Long View, one of North America’s most powerful providers of Hybrid IT solutions and services, during Citrix Summit 2016 in Las Vegas on Jan. 11.
“We’ve been a Citrix Solution Advisor Partner for as long as Long View has been in existence, and there’s a very good reason for that—Citrix products consistently help our customers succeed by increasing their business agility, continuity and efficiency,” says Dave Frederickson, Long View’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
“Networking, virtualization and converged infrastructure are vital components of our Hybrid IT offering,” adds Frederickson, “and Citrix solutions are incredibly valuable for our customers. They are scalable, flexible and robust, and meet the unique business needs of our customer base.”
Citrix’s 2015 Canadian Partner of the Year award acknowledges Long View’s exceptional expertise, highest total revenue, and year-over-year growth in product sales for Citrix in Canada. Long View had previously earned Citrix’s Canadian Partner of the Year honors in 2013.
Long View has achieved Platinum Solution Advisor status from Citrix in Canada, and a Silver Solution Advisor Partner status in the United States, for delivering agile, flexible and innovative Citrix solutions. Whether it’s consulting, architecture, project delivery, strategic project management, cloud or procurement services, Long View meets the high standard of excellence demanded by Citrix.
Long View was among the first of Citrix’s North American partners to see its employees achieve Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) status, the highest individual certification available from Citrix, and now has four CCIAs on staff. Additionally, Long View has more than 25 Citrix-certified administrators for offerings such as XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer and NetScaler.
“Our partners are essential to the success of Citrix, which is why it was such an honour to award Long View our Canadian Partner of the Year,” commends Michael Murphy, vice-president and country manager for Citrix Canada. “Citrix has had a successful partnership with Long View for many years. They are extremely knowledgeable about our solutions and offer our mutual customers invaluable strategic counsel as they guide them in mobilizing and securing their businesses.”
The Citrix Solution Advisor partnership offers channel partners a wide range of marketing, sales and technology tools to build partners’ technical and sales expertise, win a larger share of the market and surpass the competition. As a Solution Advisor, partners work side-by-side with customers to plan, design, implement and maintain Citrix mobility, desktop virtualization, cloud networking, cloud platforms, collaboration and data sharing solutions. Membership in the program is the best way for partners to help customers gain the simplicity and flexibility of mobile workstyles and cloud computing.
