Long View Converges on Toronto
April 10, 2014
It’s been quite a year for Long View’s Toronto branch, as we celebrated our first birthday on January the 14th. From our humble beginnings in a small corner office on the 11th floor of Yonge and Richmond, where Dave, Nolan and I uncrated our laptops, printers, and network gear (luckily we had Nolan and his technical capability). We are now taking the keys to a whole floor at our new offices on Lombard Street. There have been many late nights, many whiteboard sessions, many proposals written, many projects won and delivered. Of course a few Teroni’s pizzas were consumed along the way.
The Toronto branch is now 37 full time employees. Our sales team is in full stride, and to complement our team we have encouraging support from our focus partners as we solve customer problems together and deliver value to the Toronto marketplace.
The Toronto team is glad to be here and represent Long View with pride. We have been on quite a winning streak receiving the industries top awards for innovation and customer satisfaction. There is always some exciting news to share with our customers, our prospects and our partners. In the last few months we have been named:
-One of Canada’s Best Managed Companies
-Pan-HP Reseller Growth Partner of the Year
-Cisco’s Services Partner of the Year
-Cisco’s Collaboration Partner of the Year
-Citrix’s Canadian Partner of the Year
-Cisco’s Customer Satisfaction Award (10 Years running)
What a testament to our full employment model, our 20 Mile March, and our vision in becoming a 100 year old company.
Behind every sale there is a great technical team, and our compliment of 24+ full time consultants truly exhibit our core values. Whether we are delivering Voice and Data solutions to Ontario’s largest cities, universities and power generators, to email solutions or DC management solutions, to the largest law firms or credit unions, they have done a spectacular job. One successful project leads to another, and our smallest branch continues to grow in Canada’s largest market.
What a testament to our commitment and confidence in Long View Toronto, we open our Toronto Data Centre on June the 1st. We will offer our full complement of Cloud and Managed Services, with full backup and replication to our Calgary Data Centre.
Our Data Centre will feature Converged Infrastructure. The below white paper, sponsored by VCE, highlights the astonishing results from in-depth interviews with eleven IT organizations, enterprises, and major service providers who utilize CI.
