Data center projects are focused on maximizing capacity utilization, scalability of a client's infrastructure and ensuring efficient, reliable, and highly available access to business data and applications.
Following a comprehensive assessment of existing data center facilities and capabilities, our consultants develop a set of requirements tailored to the client’s specific business needs. The implementation of a data center architecture and design is performed by our Data Center experts, solution architects and specialized consultants. Throughout the process, we use a number of specialized tools to facilitate the design. APC's InfraStruXure Designer software is used to design the facility's layout and power and cooling systems. CoolSim, a Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis software, is used to simulate airflow and cooling. We also use two proprietary calculators for TCO analysis and growth projection.

Save with Long View Data Center
Depending on the technology and solution, most organizations see ROI of less than 12 months on network upgrades. Generally, the larger the IT footprint, the greater the potential savings, however, even smaller environments can postpone having to move or expand (potentially at significant cost) by improving efficiency.
Why Partner with Long View?
- We have a proven reputation for excellence in delivering complete technology solutions on a foundation of industry best practice (e.g. AFCOM's Data Center Institute).
- We have a proven record in assessing data center design requirements with our enterprise customers.
- Long View's unique approach to data center design is from the IT perspective, which ensures the facility is designed with appropriate space, power, and cooling to meet current and future needs and can take advantage of developments in related technology.
- Recognized as the Cisco Advanced Data Center Partner of the Year in 2009.

Long View Data Center – Secure Your IT Environment
Traditional data centers are facing the threat of limited capacity and associated risk management concerns and will need to significantly modify their facilities during the next five years. If the data center fails, the entire IT environment is at risk. As businesses continue to shift to service delivery models (including Cloud models), there is a growing demand for data center facilities to be as flexible as the IT infrastructure they house in order to ensure business agility.
At Long View, we address complex and mission-critical endeavors around the data center. From the assessment to the execution stage, our experienced data center team will support your needs by providing full life-cycle services including analysis, design, build, and management services for complex computing environments. With that in mind, ongoing management of data center capacity, availability, and efficiency requires a perspective beyond a traditional, facility centric, view and takes into consideration rapid changes in IT infrastructure and the demands it can place on power and cooling.
Benefits of Long View Data Center
- Storage and network technologies from industry-leading manufacturers provide high quality solutions and ensure streamlined access management, reducing infrastructure complexity.
- Maximize data center utilization to leverage value gained from connectivity, which can reduce costs and increase access to mission-critical data.
- Improved operational efficiency can dramatically reduce the TCO for any given network solution while reducing response time to change or growth requests.
- Provide a higher level of security and redundancy through disaster recovery planning.
- Increase systems availability and reliability and create an environment that can be effectively scaled to meet changing business needs.
- Increase productivity and energy efficiency by integrating computing, storage, and networking operations under a single, automated platform.
