CiscoSummitAward

Long View is very proud to have a long standing culture that strives to be better each and every day with a mindset of continuous improvement. This doesn’t go unnoticed by our partners and customers and as a result we are the proud recipients of numerous awards and industry recognition.  As of late there have been a few “Firsts” that we’d like to highlight:

  • Business Value Practitioner Certification: As Long View strives to help our customers with a more business outcomes focused approach I was the FIRST person in Canada to complete the Business Value Practitioner program and Ross Jones, in our US office completed this same program we now hold the title of the FIRST company in North America to hold this across Canada and the US.  We are already seeing how this program can help us better connect with the Line of Business users in our customers organizations and drive additional value for our client’s business requirements.
  • Cisco Gold Certification with Hybrid IT: This Year Long View was fortunate to be recognized as the FIRST Cisco Partner in the world to complete the new Cisco Gold Certification with Hybrid IT requirements.  For Long View Hybrid IT is at the core of what we do and although this is something we’ve been providing for quite some time we have definitely found our identity in being a world class Hybrid IT provider.
  • Cisco Canada’s Partner of the Year: And for our final BIG FIRST – Yesterday at Cisco’s global partner conference Long View was announced as Cisco Canada’s Partner of the Year. This is the first year that we qualified for this award since we didn’t have coverage in the east region. Our Toronto office officially opened in 2014. This award is the top award as chosen by the Cisco management and partner teams based on the over-all value provided by the partner community in a given year. Year after year Long View is very proud to be the recipient of numerous Cisco awards, but this year is very special as we receive the country’s top prize.

These awards are truly a testament to the entire Long View team working together to drive Cisco solutions from our managed services, procurement, licensing, architecture, and through to all our delivery practices.

Here are a few interesting stats from our Cisco audit:

  • 3564 preparation files
  • 1146 documents requested by the auditor
  • 487 PowerPoint slides
  • 3 days of audit
  • 0 Action Items leaving the audit
  • #1 Partner in the world

In no way does this mean that we’ve reached the finish line.  In fact this only encourages us to continue to improve and be better tomorrow than we were today.  In the words of Michael Jordan, “You have competition every day because you set such high standards for yourself that you have to go out every day and live up to that.”
